Life is a Work in Progress

Singing has been a big part of my life. I started singing when I was in kindergarten. I was in this vocal group with my 4 other friends and I don’t remember exactly if it was a competition but we did travel to another city to perform Sunday school songs at a church. My choir days continued when I was in primary school. I joined the school choir and, at some point, the school music group where I played the xylophone. I found great joy in singing as a kid, and I feel like I could express myself better through a song, and my parents decided to make me take some vocal lessons. As much as I enjoyed it in primary school, I didn’t really want to pursue it during middle school and high school. Being exposed to various other interests didn’t really help the case either. #MusicalMonday: Appreciating Growth and Friendship through 'For Good'

People come into our lives for a reason, bringing something we must learn   and we are led to those who let us most to grow if we let them and we help them in return. For Good, from 'Wicked the Musical' I am a huge believer of 'something happens for a reason' and by all means I believe that anything and anyone can be a reason behind why a certain thing is happening. Maybe a certain person touches your heart or maybe they challenge your current perspective and show you a new one. Maybe the pair of shoes that we've always wanted are sold out because there's gonna be a new one that has better technology.  Having this belief, personally, helps me a lot with managing my expectations and seeing things from another perspective, especially during the pandemic where everything is full of uncertainty.
